BOFA International Limited are proud to lauch the first in a series of Free APP tools specifically designed to assist installation and support engineers within the fume extraction and HVAC markets.

The APP will prove to be an invaluable tool for any P601 certified engineer when undertaking LEV certification in line with COSHH regulations. Application and design engineers will also benefit from the quick and easy way in which values can be found.

The new APP provides users with a simple to use calculator to convert air flow and air pressure values. The tool also includes a Fume Cabinet calculator which enables engineers to calculate the airflow needed to achieve the minimum face velocity required to comply with HSE guidelines.

Tony Lockwood joined us in June and has proved himself to be a truly valuable member of the Sales and marketing team. BOFA International are pleased to welcome Tony Lockwood to the Bofa team as Business Development Manager.

Tony was previously employed by Domino and Purex International as Sales and Marketing Director.

Tony is employed with BOFA as of June 2011, as Business Development Manager where his global responsibility will include the introduction of BOFA to new and more diverse market sectors.

Due to the rapid expansion of BOFA International Ltd, we have extended the R & D department, taking on Simon Crowther to help in the ongoing increased amount of work. The R & D department is now a much larger part of our factory, allowing increased testing and design work on new extractors for a range of processes and industries.

BOFA releases its NEW unit - T30A, Tip extractor for lead free solder applications. This new unit has 'Closed Loop Automatic Flow Control'. The T30A is an update to replace the older T30, which has now been discontinued. This new unit is ideally suited for soldering iron tip extraction, vac pens and any application requiring close proximity, micro extraction.

BOFA introduces the NEW Fume Cabinets for solder applications, the FumeCAB 250 and 600. Cabinets are a very effective way to eliminate the fumes from most soldering applications where an enclosed area on the work bench is not an issue.

BOFA’s new FumeCAB fume cabinets have been purposely design to help employers comply with the new regulations and the introduction of the new HSG258 code of practice, partial enclosures are steadily becoming the preferred option for operator protection from fumes generated from process such as hand soldering, solvent use, and other process that produce harmful fumes.

BOFA INTERNATIONAL LTD are pleased to announce the purchase of our new factory in Balena Close, Poole which will give a further 8,500 square feet of floor space. This factory has received the necessary modification to allow our fabrication department to relocate for further significant expected growth, offering a faster and even more efficient service to our customers.

The current factory also in Balena close has undergone a 3,000 square feet extension giving a huge factory area of 21,000 square feet, and a total of almost 30,000 square feet. This will allow an increased area for manufacture, R & D, assembly and test.

BOFA INTERNATIONAL LTD have expanded considerably over the last 18 months with a huge increase in growth of 45% -  resulting in a turnover for the group approaching ten million for this coming financial year.

BOFA AMERICAS, INC has continued to go from strength to strength since opening in November 2008 and 40 foot containers are exported monthly to keep our customers happy the other side of the pond.

This expansion will enable us to continue to grow and still offer the same level of support and personal service offered in the past that has made Bofa the success it is today. This is in addition to extending the facilities only three months ago. Night shifts are also incorporated into the shift patterns to keep pace with the increased demand in our product.

Thierry Lakwijk - Benelux and Germany.
Thierry has made the decision to leave BOFA for personal reasons and will be working outside of the industry. He will be officially leaving at the end of August and John Twigg will take over responsibilities for Germany and Benelux.
